Locking construction
Choose ball-lock or ladder-style construction. For BZW or BZQ, identify whether the spring section or double-wrap arrangement matches your installation.
Steel grade & finish
State the required steel grade and whether the band should be uncoated or coated. A Nylon 11 coating does not make the steel-core tie a nylon cable tie.

Are coated stainless steel ties the same as nylon ties?
No. A coated stainless steel tie retains a metal band beneath its coating. Specify both the steel grade and coating and review the exact model requirements.
What changes when selecting a double-wrap tie?
Allow for the specified two-pass route through the locking arrangement. Select the length and compatible installation tool from that series rather than a single-wrap equivalent.
