It combines a flame-retardant polyolefin outer wall with an internal hot-melt adhesive layer.<\/p>\n

During heating, the outer wall shrinks and the adhesive softens and flows around the cable or component. After cooling, the adhesive helps form a sealed interface against water and moisture. The nominal 4:1 shrink ratio<\/strong> accommodates connector-to-cable diameter transitions. Six standard sizes are supplied in 1.22 m lengths<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      4. Continue heating until the outer wall has recovered and the adhesive has flowed around the underlying surface.<\/li>\n
      5. Remove the heat source and allow the tubing and adhesive to cool completely.<\/li>\n
