YOCL ELECTRIC HSMS-GFF flame-retardant dual-wall heat shrink tubing combines a polyolefin outer layer with hot-melt adhesive for electrical insulation, environmental sealing and mechanical protection.

Overview
YOCL ELECTRIC HSMS-GFF flame-retardant heat shrink tubing provides dual-wall insulation, environmental sealing and mechanical protection for wires, cables and electrical connections. Its flame-retardant polyolefin outer layer covers the cable or component while the internal hot-melt adhesive helps seal the underlying surface.
During heating, the outer layer shrinks and the adhesive softens and flows into gaps around the component. After cooling, it helps form a protective interface against water, moisture and corrosion.
The series offers 3:1 and 4:1 shrink ratios: 12 sizes from 3.2 mm to 50.0 mm for the 3:1 version, and nine sizes from 4.0 mm to 52.0 mm for the 4:1 version. Each version has its own wall thickness, adhesive thickness and standard packaging values.

Use the supplied and recovered internal-diameter limits in the tables, together with the total wall and adhesive-layer thickness tolerances.
Selection Guide
Choose the 3:1 version for a broad size range and cable or component sealing across moderate-to-large diameter transitions. Choose the 4:1 version where the tubing must pass over a larger connector or terminal before recovering around a substantially smaller cable.
For example, 3:1 30.0 mm tubing has supplied I.D. ≥30.0 mm and maximum recovered I.D. ≤10.20 mm, while 4:1 32.0 mm tubing has supplied I.D. ≥32.0 mm and maximum recovered I.D. ≤8.0 mm.
Check wall and adhesive thicknesses against the required fit and sealing interface. The 4:1 8.0 mm size has total wall thickness 1.55 ± 0.30 mm and adhesive-layer thickness 0.60 ± 0.25 mm. The 3:1 25.4 mm size has total wall thickness 2.05 ± 0.40 mm and adhesive-layer thickness 0.55 ± 0.25 mm.
