Konstruksi dinding ganda menggabungkan lapisan luar poliolefin yang dimodifikasi radiasi dengan lapisan perekat lelehan panas. Selama pemanasan, lapisan luar menyusut dan perekat melunak serta mengalir di sekitar permukaan kabel. Select the model with a supplied I.D. that passes over the cable termination, then check the maximum recovered I.D. against the cable diameter requiring sealing. Choose a listed length that covers the termination and the required protected cable section.
For example, HSC-F-3 has supplied I.D. ≥10.85 mm, maximum recovered I.D. ≤2.41 mm and standard length options of 40 or 50 mm. Its total wall is ≥1.91 mm, outer wall ≥0.89 mm and adhesive layer ≥1.17 mm.
