Pressure relief valve series

Dedicated pressure release or breathing and relief in one assembly.

Safety One-Way Pressure Relief Valves

Safety One-Way Pressure Relief Valves

Release internal pressure through a dedicated one-way valve.

Breather & Pressure Relief Valves

Breather & Pressure Relief Valves

Combine everyday membrane breathing with pressure-actuated gas release.

  • 8 threaded models + F550 PRV
  • IP67
  • e-PTFE membrane

Threaded models: 4–15 kPa opening-pressure range; minimum airflow varies from 800 to 3,000 mL/min at 70 mbar.

F550 battery pack PRV: a separate PP+GF30 configuration with a stainless steel cover.

Select the exact model for its rated conditions. Pressure relief does not establish explosion-proof certification or the safety rating of the complete enclosure.

Specify the vent.
Validate the enclosure.

Thread size alone does not determine a suitable vent. Send the mounting details and operating conditions together.

Prepare your specification
  1. Match the mounting interface

Thread form, pitch, engagement and clearance; or the snap-in opening, panel thickness and retention requirements.

  2. State airflow with its test pressure

Compare values at the same pressure differential. These catalogue figures use 70 mbar; they do not define enclosure equalization time.

  3. Confirm material and exposure

Share temperature, washdown, chemicals and outdoor exposure. Request the required metal grade, membrane and seal specification.

  4. Review a sample assembly

Confirm installation torque, sealing surfaces and the applicable ingress test before approving the enclosure design.

Questions before
you specify.

Is a vent plug the same as a cable gland?

No. A cable gland provides a cable entry and sealing interface. A vent plug provides a ventilation path through a separate enclosure opening; it is not a cable entry.

Does every series have the same IP rating?

No. The current PA66 threaded and snap-on listings state IP67. The metal listings state IP68. The rating of a component does not automatically establish the rating of the completed enclosure. Ask for model-specific test conditions.

Can I select a vent from enclosure volume alone?

Not reliably. Selection also needs the pressure-change requirement, temperature profile, leakage paths, available mounting position and the vent’s airflow characteristics. Provide these details for a technical review.

Why do some thread sizes appear more than once?

The same printed thread can have different overall lengths, thread lengths or airflow values. For example, the plastic M12 × 1.5-10 entries differ. Include the complete dimension row when ordering.

What information is needed for a quotation?

Send the series or model, material, thread or snap-fit dimensions, required airflow and pressure, application conditions, quantity and delivery destination. Include a drawing where available.
