YOCL Elektrik 3:1 Zero-Halogen Single-Wall Heat Shrink Tubing provides electrical insulation, cable protection, wire-harness bundling and component covering. It is manufactured from irradiated cross-linked modified polyolefin with zero-halogen and low-smoke characteristics.
The 3:1 shrink ratio allows the tubing to pass over a connector or terminal and recover around a smaller cable diameter. The thin single wall has no internal adhesive layer. Fourteen sizes are available from 1.5/0.5 mm to 39/13 mm, with an operating temperature up to 125°C.

I.D. means internal diameter. All diameters, wall thicknesses and wall tolerances are in millimetres. Supplied dimensions and fully recovered dimensions apply to the same size row.

Select a supplied internal diameter that can pass over the cable, connector or component. Check the maximum recovered internal diameter against the area to be covered, together with the recovered wall thickness.
For example, the 12.0/4.0 mm option has a minimum supplied I.D. of 12.0 mm and a maximum recovered I.D. of 4.0 mm. Its recovered wall thickness is 0.70 ± 0.15 mm.
Specify the required 300 V or 600 V rated option with the selected tubing size. Use the dimensions in the table to assess fit and the available installation space.

Installation Notes
- Select a tubing size that can pass over the cable, terminal or component.
- Cut it to the required length and slide it into position.
- Apply controlled heat evenly around the tubing.
- Move the heat source continuously to promote uniform recovery.
- Continue heating until the tubing has recovered around the component.
- Allow it to cool before handling.
Avoid overheating or concentrating heat at one location.
