Overview

YOCL ELECTRIC SEP1615–3541 busbar support insulators provide insulated mechanical support for busbars. The insulating body is described as glass-fibre-reinforced unsaturated polyester moulding compound, with BMC or SMC configurations and metal threaded inserts.

This series covers 10 base models with heights of 16–35 mm. The supplied specifications list 24 matched thread configurations. Select the thread diameter, depth and torque strength from the same row.

Features

  • Moulded insulating body with threaded inserts for busbar support mounting.
  • 10 distinct base models with heights of 16–35 mm.
  • BMC or SMC material configurations.
  • Model-specific voltage withstand and tensile strength.
  • Thread diameter, depth and torque strength paired by configuration.
  • Colour, inserts, material properties and thread specifications can be requested.

The diameter and hexagonal/plan dimensions are separate drawing labels and are not interchangeable. Dimensions are transcribed from the supplied labels; no tolerances or thread pitches are specified.

The SEP base code identifies the height and hexagon dimension. The source uses a final square placeholder for the thread dimension. The tables retain the base code and show the thread separately so the complete requested configuration can be specified without assuming a suffix format.

Selection Guide

Choose the base model by its height and hexagon dimension, then select a listed nominal thread diameter. The torque strength and thread depth must follow the same configuration row. SEP3532 and SEP3541 have different thread depths between their 6 mm and 8/10 mm configurations.

Ordering Information

For a quotation, specify the SEP base model and listed nominal thread diameter, required quantity, thread form, insert material, insulating material and colour. Custom configurations for colour, inserts, material properties and threads can be requested.
