High Temperature Terminal Blocks
Manufacturer

Ceramic and PPS terminal blocks for wiring projects with elevated-temperature requirements. Compare YC023 and YC024 as separate constructions: temperature capability alone does not establish current capacity or a suitable complete installation.

High Temperature Terminal Blocks

Compare ceramic and PPS constructions

ConstructionSelection focusSeries reference
Steatite ceramic terminalsYC023 lists two- and three-pole models with individual ratings of 20, 32 or 57 A at 450 V. The published working-temperature range is −40°C to +425°C.YC023
PPS two-pole connectorsYC024 lists a 2.5–4.0 mm² wire range, 3 A at 380 V and a working-temperature range of −40°C to +300°C. These values do not apply to the ceramic range.YC024

Check the whole operating condition.

The product temperature limit is not a rating for the attached wire or the complete assembly.

Thermal conditions

State operating temperature, exposure duration and the expected local temperature at the connection. Request applicable test evidence.

Circuit loading

Specify current and voltage for the actual operating conditions. Confirm any required derating rather than combining independent maximum values.

Conductors & hardware

Check wire insulation, conductor preparation and terminal hardware suitability for the intended environment.

Mounting & spacing

Use model-specific fixing dimensions and pole layout. Confirm clearances, mechanical protection and installation instructions.

High Temperature Terminal Blocks
buying questions.

Are ceramic and PPS terminal blocks interchangeable?

No. YC023 and YC024 differ in construction, electrical ratings, pole arrangements and dimensions. Compare the complete selected-model specification.

Does the 425°C figure apply to every product on this page?

No. It is the published upper working-temperature value for YC023. YC024 lists +300°C. Confirm the selected model and assembly requirements.

Can maximum current and maximum temperature be used simultaneously?

Do not assume this without supporting operating data. Provide the intended load and thermal conditions for model-specific confirmation.

Are all Bakelite terminals included here?

No. YC007 Bakelite strips remain in Terminal Strips & Barrier Blocks. A material name alone is not a basis for assigning the same high-temperature rating.

What should I include in a quotation request?

Send the YC023 or YC024 model, operating temperature, electrical load, wire details and quantities. Include the exact model quantities, delivery destination and required documentation.

Can you review custom labels and packaging?

Send your part numbers, label artwork, pack quantities and shipment requirements. Feasibility, sample requirements, minimum quantities and lead time are confirmed for the requested models.
